Lula and Flávio lead first round voting intentions

PoderData/AYA research released this Friday (29) showed the president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) ahead from the senator Flavio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) em possible second round. The Chief Executive has 46% of voting intentionswhile the parliamentarian registered 42%.

Em other scenarios second round, Lula also leads voting intentions. Against former governors Romeu Zema (New) or Ronaldo Caiado (PSD), o PT member has 45%while both register 41%.

According to research, 49% of those interviewed said that “they wouldn’t vote at all” in Flavio. About Lula, 48% they responded the same.

Others 36% stated that the PT member would be the “the only one I would vote for”. The exclusive preference for Flávio is 30%.

Government assessment

According to the survey, 46% rate the Lula government as “bad or terrible”while 36% consider to be “great or good”. Others 16% said that the management is “regular”.

I and government disapproval is from 50%. A approval is from 44%.

As for the Lula’s work, 49% disapprove. Others 44% said they approved.

From May 25th to 28th, PoderData/AYA interviewed 2,400 people in 651 municipalities via telephone call. The margin of error is two percentage points with a 95% confidence rate. The survey was registered with the Superior Electoral Court on May 23, 2026 with number BR-04882/2026.
