The French Tennis Federation (FFT) and Roland Garros will impose a financial punishment on tennis player Adolfo Daniel Vallejo for his sexist comments against the referee of the duel he faced, resolved in favor of the latter by 6-3, 7-5, 3-6, 2-6 and 7-6(8). The Paraguayan player, 71st in the world, stated in an interview with Clay that the match should have been refereed by a man, instead of by Brazilian judge Ana Carvalho.
