The Central Bank ceased the extrajudicial liquidation of Administradora de Consórcio Nacional Valor, due to a ruling that declared the institution’s bankruptcy. The decision of the monetary authority was communicated this Friday (29), by the head of the Resolution and Sanctioning Action Department of the BC, Climério Leite Pereira.
The liquidation of the institution was decreed in February 2023. The act was signed by the then president of the BC, Roberto Campos Neto. At the time, the decision considered “the situation of asset insolvency and the serious violations of the legal norms that govern the institution’s activity”.
According to a statement published by the BC this Friday, the bankruptcy was declared in June 2025 by sentence of the 1st Court of the District of Itaperuna (RJ).
There were appeals, but, on May 17, 2026, the effects of the sentence were reestablished by decision of Judge Antonio Carlos Arrábida Paes, of the Tenth Chamber of Private Law of the Court of Justice of the State of Rio de Janeiro.
