This Sunday’s match will be João Fonseca’s first against Casper Ruud. The Norwegian is currently 16th in the rankings.

The Brazilian arrives excited for the clash after two comeback victories. Before beating Djokovic, he also went from 2-0 against to 3-2 against Croatian Dino Prizmic in the second round. In his debut, he had beaten Frenchman Luka Pavlovic 3-0.

Casper Ruud debuted with a 3-2 victory over Russian Roman Safiullin. Then, he scored 3-0 against Serbian Hamad Medjedovic and 3-2 against American Tommy Paul.
