Seven deputies from the PSOL-Rede confederation filed a request for the (Attorney General’s Office) to investigate the senator for a possible attack on national sovereignty.
According to the group, the lobbying carried out by the PL pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic for the inclusion of the CV (Comando Vermelho) and PCC (Primeiro Comando da Capital) in the list maintained by the USA of terrorist organizations creates the legal possibility of a military intervention in Brazil.
The request is signed by deputies Chico Alencar (PSOL-RJ), Duda Salabert (PSOL-MG), Fernanda Melchionna (PSOL-RS), Heloisa Helena (Rede-RJ), Luiza Erundina (PSOL-SP), Luizianne Lins (Rede-CE) and Sâmia Bonfim (PSOL-SP).
They point out that when traveling to the USA and meeting with American President Donald Trump, to whom he made the request, Flávio used his mandate as senator to invite a foreign nation to intervene in Brazil, which would impact national sovereignty.
Therefore, they ask for an investigation to be opened by the PF (Federal Police) to investigate the case.
Flávio Bolsonaro traveled to the USA this week and the classification. He celebrated the decision on the same day.
In a video published on social media, Flávio stated that he did “more for Brazil and the safety of Brazilians” on a trip as a pre-candidate than the PT and Lula did in 17 years.
the classification is considered strategic by Flávio’s allies to wear down Lula in the election.
The Executive’s understanding is that the labeling could give rise to American intervention in Brazilian territory, in addition to unilateral measures from the White House.
