Returning to the universe of “The Midnight Library” almost six years later, the author Matt Haig decided to continue the plot with a new character trapped in the afterlife.
Entitled “The Midnight Train” fans will be able to follow Wilbur Budd, the protagonist who experienced a life marked by ambition and work, leaving aside what was really important for his well-being.
When his heart stops beating, Budd finds himself on the platform of the Midnight Train, one-way ticket in hand to embark on a journey through his past.
Just like in the first one, the character’s mission is to experience the existences that could have been his and decide if he would like to return to live in a new universe, receiving a second chance.
Scheduled for June 15th, the sequence is now available for pre-order on and on the official website of Editora Bertrand.
