An iconic statement Marilyn Monroe’s “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend” from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes isn’t just a catchy chorus from a song. It has become a cultural phenomenon that perfectly describes the fascination with these gems.
Unlike perishable things, diamonds do not lose their luster. They are the hardest natural material on Earth and symbolize indestructibility, constancy, loyalty. When you invest in a diamond, you are investing in something that will stay with you forever. with musician Teri Čikoš accepted an invitation to the presentation of The Art of Jewelery collection from the ALO diamonds workshop, which was attended by famous faces from Slovak show business. Among them was marquis Sabina Lipková, who is the winner of the Rose for the Bride 4.
Filming has already ended, the lovers have chosen each other. How does Sabina remember it? Did this show change her life?
“I don’t regret going there at all. I’ll be honest, I was so skeptical before going there. I didn’t know what I was getting into, I was scared. It’s probably such a natural reaction, but I’ll honestly say that already during that show I realized that I’m good here. I feel great here. Both in the group of girls, and in general the entire production, everyone was absolutely amazing. And I left with a very good feeling and I was really glad that I got this opportunity and that I could go there,” revealed Koktejlu.
And Sri Lanka? “I have now seen Sri Lanka for the second time. I already had the opportunity to go there once, when I was still flying, that is, as a flight attendant. I told myself when I was there for the first time that I would return one day and it happened anyway, so I fulfilled it. I will honestly say that the country is beautiful, but there is also quite a lot of poverty, so you really experience different layers as well. But then again, it’s great to see and it’s a great experience and you really realize how grateful you are to have what you have at home. And that actually at home is the best, as they say,” admitted Sabina.
According to her, is it possible to find true love this way in a reality show? “I think that true love can be found everywhere, but it depends on whether the person really wants it and it’s always about two people. Regardless of whether it’s a reality show, or you meet someone somewhere in a club, as they say, or on social networks. It doesn’t matter in what form, the important thing is whether those people sit down,” revealed the winner of the Rose for the Bride.
