Vatican City – The Vatican is getting a communications chief for the first time. Pope Leo On November 1st, the previous president of “EWTN News” will succeed Paolo Ruffini (69), who has held the office since 2018. Ruffini was the first layperson, i.e. non-clergy, to be appointed to head a Vatican authority.
