The Finnish prosecutor’s office announced on Wednesday that accused a man of sexually abusing 361 children through social networks. TASR informs about it according to the report of the AFP agency. The man committed these acts in the years 2019 – 2022, while the victims were between the ages of nine and 15. During the investigation, the accused partially confessed to committing crimes.

Finnish police announced in December that is investigating this case and suspects a 27-year-old man of 364 sexual offenses against children. The prosecutor’s office decided not to press charges in three cases.
In 2022, the police searched this man’s mobile phone in connection with another case and she found thousands of videos and photos of unidentified children in it. The perpetrator approached the children on the Snapchat platform and asked them to send him their photos, on which they are lightly clothed or naked. In addition, according to the police, he asked them to perform sexual acts.
The prosecution said that these were mainly allegations of serious sexual abuse of children, sexual abuse of children and serious dissemination of visual material depicting children in a sexual context. According to the prosecutor’s office, the trial in this case is scheduled to begin in September.
