The Movement for Racial Equity (MOVER) and EF, the largest private education company in the world, announced the opening of a new stage of vacancies for the MOVER Mundo Idiomas program.
Following the success of the first call for scholarships in 2026, the initiative will make 11,000 scholarships available completely free of charge for English, Spanish, French, German, Swedish and Portuguese courses for foreigners.
The project’s objective is to expand democratic access to language learning and reduce racial inequalities in educational and corporate environments.
Registration is now open and can be completed until June 14th. Selected students will have the opportunity to study more than one language simultaneously.
Who can participate?
The program is aimed exclusively at black people aged 16 and over who do not have an active license on the EF platform.
The vacancies are aimed at both the general public and employees of the more than 50 companies associated with MOVER.
The initiative is part of a structural goal of the movement, which foresees the generation of 3 million opportunities for employment, connection with employment and entrepreneurship by 2030.
With a 100% online format, the classes allow access from any region of Brazil, focusing on personalized teaching on a scale to promote professional qualifications.
Transformation in practice: the voice of students
The effects of the program are felt in practice by students like Priscila Bispo, who started learning English from scratch through the project and used the knowledge to strengthen her feedback techniques when working with corporate training.
In addition to noticing direct impacts on her own trajectory, Priscila believes that free access to the Internet can represent a transformation in the lives of many other black people.
“Often, black people juggle work, studies, family responsibilities and the search for emotional well-being at the same time. Therefore, having access to an opportunity like this makes a difference not only in our CV, but also in the way we see our potential. Learning a new language requires constancy, but it also awakens confidence. Little by little, you begin to understand music, films, news and realize that that universe, previously distant, can also be part of your life. This broadens horizons and strengthens the feeling of belonging and possibility”, states.
