On her 20th birthday, Charlotte Gott released the single In Too Deep, the first song from her upcoming EP. The song was created during a session in London’s Eastcote studio in collaboration with British producer Sacha Skarbek. The song is built on R&B guitars and strong emotional vocals with a slightly cinematic atmosphere. PHOTO can be found in the article!
“In Too Deep is the first song I decided to present to the world. I take it as the beginning of my own journeyon which I got the chance to work with an international team and try to succeed even in foreign competition. I know it won’t be easy, but I feel I’m ready to at least try,” says the singer, who, in addition to singing, also writes and produces.
Charlotte has now released a new music video for her debut single. The visually impressive novelty does not work with a specific story, but it stands out all the more with its cinematic atmosphere and unconventional work with light and shadows. Karl Gott’s daughter appears in the clip in a series of stylized scenes reminiscent of live photographs, while she attracts the most attention in a snow-white dress and a luxurious convertible.
Filming took place in several different sets, which always combined common aesthetic elements and enhanced the overall artistic touch of the composition. “The music video is mainly based on atmosphere and visual emotions. I really enjoyed connecting the worlds of fashion, music and film,” she said in a press release. As she added, she enjoyed the entire creative process from the first preparations to the filming itself, while she had the opportunity to participate in creative decisions.
