Ministers assess that STF can decide on research – 06/10/2026 – Panel

The (Federal Supreme Court) may define rules, registration requirements and even the methodology for electoral polls this year. This is the assessment of ministers of the court and the (Superior Electoral Court) heard under reservation by the column.

The Supreme Court’s assessment is that the court has already given messages that it is responsible for monitoring the actions of higher courts and will not fail to decide on something that the TSE fails to do.

The case came to light after the preliminary decision by the president of the TSE, , to censor in response to a request from senator Flávio Bolsonaro ().
