The German weekly Der Spiegel reported on Wednesday that Epstein’s writings mention a German model who has been missing for almost 11 years. This was pointed out by the DPA agency, writes TASR.
According to the report, the woman, known only as ‘Michele’, left her birthplace in September 2015 at the age of 22 and has not been heard from since. She was allegedly in contact with modeling agent Daniel Siad for a long timewho had ties to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
At the same time, Siad is being investigated in France on the suspicion that he assisted Epstein in trafficking and abusing women. He himself denied these accusations. Der Spiegel reported that Siad’s name appears frequently in Epstein’s writings. In e-mail communications, he sent Epstein photos of women with their body measurements, highlighting their beauty. The weekly added that Siad also sent photos of Michele to Epstein with the text “you will love her”. But the weekly emphasized that there is no evidence that Michele ever actually met Epstein.
Two exes Epstein’s aides, contacted by the Weekly for comment, said they had never seen Michele. Der Spiegel also tried to contact Siad, but neither he nor his lawyer responded to multiple requests. The article quotes the model’s mother as saying she fears the worst. “I don’t think he’s alive anymore,” it is stated in the article. “That they did something to her.”
Jeffrey Epstein was convicted in 2008 of soliciting sexual services from underage girls aged 14 and over. He died in prison in New York in 2019. He took his own life before he was due to stand trial on charges of sex trafficking.
