The leaders of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates will participate next Tuesday in a working session of the Evian G7 summit to address the situation in the Middle East, the impact of the interruption of traffic in the Strait of Hormuz and negotiations with Iran, French President Emmanuel Macron announced today. Macron also confirmed that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will also attend, as expected. During a meeting at the Elysée with representatives of civil society who have participated in working groups on different topics that will be addressed at the Evian summit, from Monday to Wednesday, Macron detailed the day-by-day program and explained that these four countries will be associated with a meeting of G7 leaders dedicated to analyzing the regional and international consequences of the war in the Middle East.
