A goal from Cyle Larin in the second half earned Canada its first point in World Cup history, with a 1-1 draw against Bosnia and Herzegovina this Friday (12), in Toronto.
It was the first game of the 2026 World Cup on Canadian soil, where Larin (78′) received the ball on the edge of the area and finished surrounded by opponents to tie the duel, which the Bosnians started in front thanks to a header from Jovo Lukic (21′) after a corner kick.
The game opened Group B of the World Cup, in which Switzerland and Qatar will face off on Saturday in San Francisco.
