The four young people, convicted of crimes of rape, child pornography and harm to physical integrity, also pay compensation of 50 thousand euros to the victim.

This Friday, the Loures court sentenced the four influencers for raping a minor in 2025 and for sexual acts to effective prison sentences of between seven and eight years, the district said.

According to the statement from the presiding judge of the Lisbon North District Court (Loures), Leonardo Saraiva was convicted of two counts of aggravated rape and 27 counts of child pornography in a single sentence of seven years and six months in prison; and Hugo Ribeiro for two aggravated rape crimes and 27 child pornography crimes with a single sentence of seven years in prison.

The most extensive sentences were applied to the defendants Francisco Martinssentenced to eight years in prison for two crimes of aggravated rape, 27 crimes of pornography of minors and three crimes of harm to physical integrity; and Gabriel Maltaalso sentenced to eight years in prison for two aggravated rape crimes, 27 crimes of pornography of minors and one crime of harm to physical integrity.

The Court also ordered the preventive detention of Leonardo Saraiva, Francisco Martins and Gabriel Malta, and worsened the coercive measures for Hugo Ribeiro, who is subject to periodic presentations, prohibited from contacting the victim or approaching his home or school, and also prohibited from accessing “digital environments”, whether with his own credentials or those of third parties.

The defendants were also ordered to pay a compensation of 50 thousand euros to the victim for non-pecuniary damages, and ordered to pay the Loures-Odivelas Local Health Unit the cost of the medical assistance provided to the young woman.

The judgment of four influencers, aged between 18 and 21 at the start of the trial in April, they were accused of, in 2025, having violated a 16 year old teenager and filmed the sexual acts, in Loures.

The case dates back to February 12, 2025, when the victim met the four accused, then with significant social media and public channels, in a public garden in Santo António dos Cavaleiros, in the municipality of Loures, in the metropolitan area of ​​Lisbon.

According to the indictment, The sexual acts, recorded with the cell phone, would have started consensually in the public garden and continued, against the victim’s will, in a nearby garage.

The four young people were detained by the Judiciary Police (PJ) between March and June 2025, after being involved in the Hospital Beatriz Ângelo, in Loures, and, at the time, they were released while waiting for the process to unfold, by decision of the Loures Criminal Instruction Court.

The release was carried out by more than 70 organizations and close to three thousand people in an open letter promoted by the Portuguese Platform for Women’s Rights.

At the time, the District of Lisbon North, to which the Loures courts belong, highlighted in a note that the coercive measures do not represent a judgment of the case, but only “the application of coercive measures designed to prevent” the dangers of escape, disruption of the investigation and risk of continuation of criminal activity, among others.
