Thousands take to the streets against racism in Northern Ireland


Belfast – In response to serious racially motivated riots in Northern Ireland, several thousand people demonstrated against racism in Belfast on Saturday. According to the PA news agency, the organization “Unite Against Racism” organized the rally in front of the town hall under the motto “Together Against Hate”. The demonstrators held up posters that read, for example, “Racists go home” and “Your racism is not patriotism.”
