The chilling background of the death of Samara († 35) from Kruh: Her last PHOTO is heart-wrenching!

She died on Tuesday at the age of 35 (June 17) American actress Daveigh Chase, who became famous for dubbing the animated character Lilo and especially for the terrifying role of Samara Morgan in the horror film The Circle. According to the portal, she succumbed to meningitis and a blood infection, and was admitted to the hospital in a state of extreme malnutrition. The last decade of her life was marked by a struggle with addictions and homelessness.

She took a break from acting after 2016 and she gradually ended up in tents on the streets of Los Angeles’ infamous Skid Row neighborhood, reports the portal. Her loved ones desperately tried to save her from death. John Ryan, who had been her manager for over 10 years, hired a private investigator in cooperation with her half-sister. In late 2025, they were alerted to a disturbing video on in which an extremely emaciated Daveigh lay barely conscious in a street tent.

Although the manager contacted her by phone for a while and wanted to get her to Costa Rica for treatment, before they came to get her, she disappeared without a trace. Ryan was even preparing a documentary about this desperate search called “Looking for Lilo”, which also showed interest from major studios.

However, the tragic end of the Hollywood actress is accompanied by a sharp controversy. The manager publicly condemned a GoFundMe fundraiser started by a man named Roy Hernandez, who identified himself as her boyfriend. Ryan claims that none of his family or friends know this man and has called him a fraud. He emphasized that Daveigh has set up a trust fund in the actors’ unions (SAG), which will fully cover all the costs of the final farewell.
