Barča’s secret from the series We all have to go to school: She didn’t call the police after the rape! Her husband arranged it with the attacker

Michaela Kudláčková (57), whom the audience remembers as Barča from the legendary series We all have to go to schoolshared the darkest moment of her life. OPEN she described the circumstances of the rape from the time when she was a young mother. She explained why she never reported the perpetrator to the police.

At that time, she was happily married with two children and she went with a friend to an ordinary celebration. One of the guests they met during the evening offered them a ride home. While he dropped his friend off safely in front of her house, he and Michaela went into the forest. “He ordered me to take off my clothes. My first reaction was to start laughing,” he mentions. However, the attacker quickly led her astray. A desperate negotiation followed, which, according to her today, was just a waste of energy.

When words failed, she tried to escape. That’s when the situation escalated to an extreme. “I reached for the handle, but he turned around at that moment and told me in a voice as if you were opening a freezer that if I ever wanted to get out of that car again, I would not touch the handle again. He said that he could also smash my head with a wrench,” she described the terrifying moments.

At that moment, she realized the harsh reality and began to fear for her life. “You feel as if everything inside you is turned upside down. I was really scared and thought that it would probably be better to be raped for five minutes than to be dead for the rest of my life.” he mentions. An absurd situation then took place. After the crime, the rapist offered to take her home. When she refused, saying that she would rather go on foot, he ironically replied that she would not walk alone in the dark through the forest.

However, the suffering did not end when they arrived home. She washed off the feeling of dirt for a long time in the shower, and the next day the man appeared right at her door. “I wanted to close quickly, but he pushed my foot in the door. He came to tell me that he knows which kindergarten my daughters go to,” Kudláčková explains the reason why she did not report the rape to the police out of fear for her family.

Instead, she confided in her husband, a skilled boxer. Since no one actually knew the man from the party and the guests thought he belonged to a different party, the husband took the search into his own hands. He managed to find the rapist and threw him through the shop window, for which he later received a suspended sentence from the court.

Today, Kudláčková, who has since become a widow, lives a peaceful life in the countryside outside Prague. Her greatest joy is her four daughters and five grandchildren, while she only wishes for health for the whole family.

Despite the decades that have passed since then, she has not erased the traumatic experience from her head. “Even after 30 years, the experience is still the same. Emotionally, it doesn’t matter if it happened 20 years ago or a month ago.” concludes his difficult story.
