Competing in the World Cup for the Brazilian team, midfielder Casemiro must remain in the United States to play alongside Argentine Lionel Messi. According to information from journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 34-year-old midfielder signed contract with Inter Miami and all that remains is the signature for the official announcement.
The deal with the MLS team was pointed out several months ago by the international press. Without a club since leaving Manchester United-ING, after the end of his contract, the Brazilian preferred the North American teamand the family’s well-being would have weighed in on the decision.
Even with a good performance for the English giant last season, Casemiro did not reach an agreement with the club and said goodbye to the fans on May 17thin the 3-2 victory against Nottingham Forest, valid for the penultimate round of the Premier League. The fans revered the midfielder after 160 matches and 26 goals scored, in addition to two cup titles.
The name of the steering wheel was even mentioned in the Al-Nassr, from Saudi Arabia, where star Cristiano Ronaldo and compatriots Bento and Ângelo play. He played for five seasons alongside the Portuguese at Real Madrid and together they won five editions of the Champions League.
Casemiro remains focused on competing in the World Cup and played this Friday (19) against Haiti, in the second round of the group stage. Brazil returns to the field next Wednesday (24), against Scotland, at the Hard Rock Stadium, in Miami.
