Ethanol prices fall in 16 states, shows ANP

In São Paulo, the main producing and consuming state with the most evaluated stations, the price fell 0.26%, to R$ 3.85 per liter

Os paverage prices for hydrated ethanol fell in 16 states, they rose in six and in the Federal District and remained stable in four this week. The data is from the National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANP), compiled by AE-Taxas.

At stations surveyed by ANP across the country, the average price of ethanol fell 0.48%, to R$4.13 per liter. In São Paulo, the main producing and consuming state with the most evaluated stations, the price fell 0.26%, to R$ 3.85 per liter.

The biggest percentage increase, of 3.16%, was recorded in the Federal District, where a liter rose to R$4.24. In Pernambuco there was the biggest drop, of 3.51%, to R$ 5.23 per liter. The minimum price recorded this week for ethanol at a gas station was R$2.89 per liter, in São Paulo.

The highest price, of R$6.60, was observed in Acre. The lowest average state price, R$3.85, was recorded in São Paulo, while the highest average price was recorded in Amapá, R$5.84.
