Most of Slovakia will have high temperatures above 30 degrees on Saturday. The Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ) has therefore issued warnings of the first and second degree from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. He informed about it on his website.
Level 2 warnings apply to the Bratislava, Trnava and Nitra regions and also to the districts of Krupina and Veľký Krtíš. “The maximum air temperature is expected to reach above 35 degrees Celsius. The high temperature represents a potential danger to human health, physical activities and fire formation,” meteorologists zoomed in.
The first level of warning was issued for most of the Banskobystrické and Košice regions and the districts of Humenné, Prešov and Vranov nad Topľou. According to SHMÚ, the temperature can rise above 33 degrees in these districts.
