In a speech at the VivaTech conference in Paris on Wednesday, Jeff Bezos dismissed fears that AI will eliminate large numbers of jobs. The founder of Amazon believes, on the contrary, that technology will open up new opportunities.

“I know there is concern from a lot of people, including very smart people, that AI could make humans unnecessary. I completely disagree with that perspective and think that, in reality, AI will create a labor shortage,” said Bezos.
