The mayor of , (), collaborated on three themes of the government plan of the pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic (). They are transportation, food security and public safety.
When presenting this Thursday (18), Flávio cited as an example the
“We will implement the Brazilian Wall, monitoring ports, airports and public areas with more than 1 million new cameras spread across the country”, promised Flávio.
In the case of food security and public transport, the Bolsonarist has copied into his program experiences from the city of São Paulo such as the Solidarity Warehouses —which sell food products at discounts— and the electrification of buses.
“I can’t be involved in coordinating the campaign due to lack of time, but I will be supporting,” said Nunes, who also intends to work on the governor’s (Republican) re-election campaign.
Only this week, Nunes and Tarcísio visited paving works and participated in inauguration ceremonies for a group of transitional housing for the homeless population and in the handover of affordable housing and property deeds.
The mayor has said that support for Tarcísio is part of the debt of gratitude for the support he received from the governor in his re-election campaign in 2024.
