Registration for the 2026 edition of the initiative is open until July 17th. The initiative recognizes works that use data to investigate, analyze and communicate topics of public interest.
Reports, platforms and journalistic products published between June 9, 2025 and June 14, 2026 in any medium, such as digital vehicles, print media, radio, television and multimedia projects, can compete. Works can be entered into four categories: research, data visualization, innovation and experimentation and open data.
Created in 2019, the award seeks to encourage the use of data in , promote transparency and encourage the production of information of public interest.

In each category, a winning work will be chosen, which will receive a prize of R$2,500. The award ceremony will take place in São Paulo during the 11th edition of Coda.Br, a conference dedicated to data journalism and digital methods.
