Vienna – After weeks of wrangling, there is still no new KV qualification for the up to 240,000 employees in tourism. “The 2026 collective agreement negotiations for the hotel and catering industry have been concluded without agreement,” said the Austrian Chamber of Commerce (WKÖ), representing the employers’ side, on Wednesday. The companies could now voluntarily implement the final offer rejected by the union.
