Seattle – Bosnia-Herzegovina has preserved its chance of promotion to the World Cup in the USA, Mexico and Canada. Veteran striker Edin Dzeko and colleagues retained the upper hand against Qatar 3-1 (2-1) in Seattle on Wednesday and finished third in Group B with four points. The eight best of the twelve third-place teams make it to the round of 16. Goals from Kerim Alajbegovic (29th), Mahmoud Abunada (34th/own goal) and Ermin Mahmic (80th) made the decision.
