Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ), pre-candidate for the presidency of the Republic, published a video with content practically identical to the written note he had released at 11:22 pm on Wednesday, 24, about the video posted by former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro in which she reports having suffered “humiliation” by the parliamentarian.
Flávio’s video repeats the apology to Michelle, however, it emphasizes praise for his stepmother, makes more considerations about the Bolsonaro family and excludes the section of the note in which he said that she did not return his phone calls.
“Once again, I apologize. I have respect for her, I recognize her work at PL Mulher, which broke a record for women’s membership, for her work with the deaf, with people with rare diseases, for her care for my father and for everything she represents, yes, for Brazil”, declared Flávio, in one of the excerpts with differences in relation to the written note released previously.

In another excerpt with changes, Flávio states: “I am completely convinced that I, Michelle, you who are watching me, have the same objective: we want the best for our country and free Brazil from the dirty hands of the PT”.
The senator also adds: “My family is just like yours, which is watching me. We are also made of flesh and blood. We make mistakes, we get things right, we have differences, we think differently on some points, we agree on others. And life goes on. The important thing is that we will overcome and move forward together.”
In the video, Flávio does not mention the unrequited call from Michelle. In Wednesday’s text, the senator had written: “Yesterday (Tuesday) I called Senator Damares Alves and asked her to organize a meeting, next Wednesday, with conservative female leaders so that I could learn, listen to them and help me build the best country plan for women across Brazil”.
In the written note, Flávio also said: “Just yesterday morning, I also wrote to Damares: If you think it’s a good idea to invite Michelle too, I’m open-hearted! Kisses! Today (Wednesday) morning, I made a point of calling Michelle and inviting her personally. I made yet another unrequited gesture. She didn’t answer. I left a message. She didn’t get back either. To my surprise, this afternoon she published the video.”
