The mayor of , (), signed this Thursday (25) an intervention decree in which councilor Senival Moura (PT) would participate.
The intervention will cover buildings, equipment, vehicles, services and other movable and immovable assets owned by the company.
The draft was signed on Thursday afternoon (25). Senival was arrested in the morning in Operation Última Parada, conducted by the Civil Police and the Public Ministry.
Responsible for two concession lots in the east of the capital, Transunião serves almost 50 lines.
The intervention, in principle, lasts six months and will come into effect from this Thursday. The company will be under the responsibility of civil servant Angelo Fêde, who has been in the municipal administration for almost 50 years.
According to the mayor’s decree, an intervention committee will be created with the presence of members of the Municipal Comptroller General, the Municipal Finance Department and the Municipal Attorney General’s Office.
This committee will provide all necessary support to maintain the daily operation of the public public passenger transport service, as well as being able to carry out audits.
The group will even be able to use the company’s facilities and use equipment to carry out activities.
The decree provides for the GCM (Metropolitan Civil Guard) to be at the disposal of the intervention committee.
