Ivory Coast seeks runner-up spot

Germany has already secured the leadership of Group E, while Ivory Coast is competing for second place, which could place it against France or Norway next Tuesday, in Dallas.

According to coach Emerse Fae, the team created opportunities, but ended up lacking experience in the decisive moments of the match.

“We will use the game against Germany as a learning experience to correct mistakes and our deficiencies. This will help us go as far as possible”, said the coach.

Fae also stated that he is looking forward to the clash against Curaçao to find out “what they are made of” and expects a very competitive match.
