It wasn’t too long ago that it was sold as an innovation that smartwatches collect heart rate data and you could therefore leave the annoying heart rate strap around your chest at home: all-in-one, was the motto. Sports gadget manufacturer Amazfit is now taking the opposite direction. With the Helio Strap Pro, which has been available since Thursday, the Chinese manufacturer presents a three-part tracking system that is intended to take measurements on the wrist, arm and waist at the same time. The idea: a simultaneous measurement of heart rate, movement quality and stability in order to analyze the effectiveness of the training in more detail.
