“When you look at a publication and there’s a ‘hashtag’ at the end, that little tic-tac-toe ‘symbol’, you know? Written ‘publi’ is the abbreviation for advertising, for publicity, okay? It’s the law, which I think is super important. It’s super important that all advertising is obvious, that it’s being advertising, this is super important for the consumer to know. That’s it, so you don’t get so ‘jealous’, okay?”said the actress.

BC AUTONOMY PEC

The text is reported by the senator (PSDB-AM). It passed the Senate’s CCJ (Constitution and Justice Committee) and awaits a vote in plenary.

In practice, the proposal:

  • removes the BC from direct dependence on the General Budget of the Union and allows it to use its own revenues to cover administrative and operational expenses;
  • allows the BC to have more control over the careers, salaries and pensions of its employees;
  • place Pix in the Constitution, guaranteeing free access to individuals and prohibiting its privatization or transfer to another body.

Sinal is against the PEC because it understands that transforming the BC into a public company can reduce society’s control over the body and increase the influence of private banks and foreign companies, harming supervision. It also warns that the end of server stability could affect the independence of employees to oversee the financial system.

“PEC 65 and the Union’s actions

“We clarify that SINAL-DF’s position in relation to PEC 65/2023 is based on the mandate granted by the majority of the civil servants it represents.

“As a Regional Section with its own legal personality, CNPJ and administrative, financial and patrimonial autonomy, SINAL-DF has the legitimacy to promote studies, conclude contracts, develop institutional actions and adopt the necessary measures to defend the interests of the category, observing the deliberations of the competent bodies and always in a transparent manner.

“SINAL-DF finally reaffirms its commitment to giving visibility to an issue that needs to have interlocutors capable of making its understanding, which is quite complex, something accessible to the entire population, since its consequences will impact the entire society and could be disastrous for the country.”
