East Rutherford – England ended the preliminary round of the World Cup in North America with a 2-0 (0-0) win against Panama. Jude Bellingham (62nd) and Harry Kane (67th) secured first place in Group L with their goals in the final stadium in East Rutherford on Saturday for coach Thomas Tuchel’s team. The “Three Lions” will contest their round of 16 on Wednesday in Atlanta (6 p.m.). For Panama, however, the second World Cup participation is a zero result – they go home with no points or goals.
