The temperatures are pleasant in Christoph Wiederkehr’s (Neos) office. The Education Minister is aware that many schools are suffering from the heat. He wants a legal option for nationwide heat-free “as quickly as possible”. The move to bring forward the summer holidays, suggested by party colleague and Vienna City Councilor for Education Bettina Emmerling, should be implemented similarly quickly – provided the states follow suit.
