The author Renate Welsh (87) receives the Vienna Book Prize, which was awarded by the Buch- und Medienwirtschaft Chamber of Commerce and Media, with 5,000 euros. The performance award goes to publisher Michael Schnepf (“Book Culture”), the honorary award of the Vienna Bookbranche to the long -time publishing representative Michael Orou last year. The awards are presented on April 23, the World’s World Day, in the Vienna event room K47.
