Oscar Pastri wins Formula 1 Miami GP; Bortoleto leaves

The Australian (McLaren) won the From Miami this Sunday (4), expanding his leadership at the Pilot World Cup. Pistri, who started fourth, closed the race with a comfortable 4.6 second advantage over his teammate, the Briton Lando Norris, who finished second. Another British pilot, George Russell (Mercedes), completed the podium, 37 seconds behind the winner. Brazilian Gabriel Bortoleto (Sauber-Ferrari) had a mechanical problem on lap 32 and abandoned the race. Pastri celebrated his fourth victory for the season, the last three consecutive, while the current champion, Dutchman Max Verstappen (Red Bull), ended in a disappointing fourth place. The race, the sixth of the 2025 Formula 1 calendar, was held under the threat of a storm on the circuit, located near the Hard Rock Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins football team.
