Israel and the US hit the Yemeni port of Al Hudajda, the Huses say

The Huses accused the US and Israel of attacks on Al Hudajda and Sana, where 16 people were injured. Israel claims that the port is used to move Iranian weapons.

The Yemen insurgents Husy said that the United States and Israel attacked the port city of Al Hudajda on Monday. The Israeli army confirmed in a few hours that together with the US, Yemen hit military aircraft, writes TASR.

“American-Israeli aggression hit six strokes of Al Hudajda’s port” on the west coast of Yemen, the Húsian media reported. The SABA Húsín news agency also stated that the United States hit the capital Sana. According to the Ministry of Health, 16 people suffered injuries under this attack.

An attack by Israeli fighters

Israeli “fighters hit terrorist goals belonging … Húsími along the Yemen Coast and inland,” the army said in a statement. According to Israel, the port of Al Hudajda is “used to move Iranian weapons, military equipment and other facilities for terrorist purposes”.

The situation between Israel and Húsíji escalated on Sunday, when the Yemen insurgents attacked the international airport Ben Gurion in Tel Aviv. They did this as a sign of solidarity with the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. In the attack, six people suffered injuries and several airlines temporarily suspended all their flights to Tel Aviv.

Netanyahu promised a hard reaction

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised a hard response against Húsi and their main supporter Iran. In a video on the telegram platform before attacking Hudajda Netanyahu, he said that Israel “acted against” Husis in the past and “will (against them) act in the future”.

Iran denied on Monday that he supported the Sunday’s attack in any way and described it as a “independent decision” of the Yemenrer insurgents. In response to Netanyahu’s threats, Tehran warned that he would take retaliatory steps against the attack on his territory.

“Iran emphasizes (its) firm determination … to defend himself,” said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and warned Israel and the US of “consequences”.
