Trieste – The Historical Trieste train station will be converted into a large national railway museum by the end of 2026 – the second in Italy after the museum in Pietra near Naples. The inauguration should take place in 2027. A total of around 24.5 million euros will be invested for the restoration. The reconstruction of the large original roof structure made of steel and glass is planned.
