Competition opens file against the six large Spanish banks for the mortgage war

The National Markets and Competition Commission (CNMC) enters into it in Spain. The regulator announced this Tuesday the opening of a file against the six main Spanish banking entities (Banco Santander, BBVA, CaixaBank, Sabadell, Bankinter and Unicaja) over the prices of fixed-rate mortgages, which have served competitors to “anticipate future behavior.”
