Ukraine - Russia War, live, last minute of the conflict

The president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, announced this Monday the signing of a loan of just over 15 billion euros for France that will serve to strengthen its defense industry, and at the same time to help Ukraine in its military effort against the Russian invasion. This loan, which is part of the SAFE (Security Action for Europe) program, will be formalized on Wednesday, Von der Leyen said during a press appearance with the president of the European Council, António Costa, shortly before the start of the G7 summit in Évian, France. The material obtained will serve in part to sustain Ukraine’s war effort against Russia. More than 78 billion euros have already been committed from the latest European aid package to kyiv, which is 90 billion, which will cover nine areas of action, including the fight against drones, missiles and ammunition.
