The USA and the EU reach agreement: 15 percent of US customs for EU products

Negotiations were made for weeks, and the United States and the EU finally reached an agreement in the customs dispute on Sunday evening: a general duty rate of 15 percent for deliveries of goods from the EU to the USA was agreed. This was announced by US President Donald Trump after a conversation with EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. Customs of 15 percent should also apply to cars and pharmaceutical products, but the tariffs for steel and aluminum should continue to be 50 percent.
