Lula: Exit from the map of hunger is worth an Oscar or Cannes

President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) said on Thursday, 7, that the departure of Brazil from the hunger map of the United Nations (UN) is worth an Oscar or Cannes Festival.

“It is a huge joy this month to receive the information that Brazil, in just two and a half years, left the map of hunger, which embarrassed Brazil, again. This is an achievement that is worth an Oscar, a cannes and a Berlin festival,” said Lula.

The president’s statement was made during the Cine Alvorada session at the Dawn Palace, which broadcast the film “The Secret Agent”, starring Wagner Moura and directed by Kléber Mendonça Filho.
