This recipe for cucumbers in Chinese I have from a friend from work. I tried once and I know that I will make them every year.
Cucumber veki are very easy. Just wash the cucumbers, put them in jars and pour the appropriate marinade. - Transfer cucumbers into a bowl and backfill with a lot of salt so that they release water. Leave cucumbers chopped into the posts for min. 6 hours, cucumber slices only need 1 hour.
- To scalded jars you can add bay leaves and a few grains of allspice and sliced chili pepper.
- Prepare the pickle in a pot. Mix water, vinegar, oil, sugar, garlic and chili peppers squeezed through Prague (unless you used fresh).
- Put the cucumbers impressed with excess water into jars and pour the pickle, leaving 1-2 cm of free space from above.
After cooling down so prepared You can put cucumbers in the fridge. Thanks to the oil that will collect upstairs, they are protected against the development of microorganisms and will not break for several good weeks. However, if you want to store them longer in the pantry – It is worth pasteurizing them in the oven or pot.
Cucumbers in Chinese They taste great straight from the jar. They taste great in the company of other ingredients on a sandwich or in a home hamburger.
