Dialogues located by the Federal Police indicate that the former president () told his son and (PL-SP) that he was talking to ministers of the (Supreme Court).
In the same message exchange, on June 27, Bolsonaro told Eduardo to spare Minister Gilmar Mendes from criticism.
In the conversation, Eduardo had sent three images to his father, who were not recovered by the PF. Then the federal deputy asked if he could “share” the images, and Bolsonaro replied not. “Forget any criticism of Gilmar,” said the former president.
“I’ve been talking to some of the Supreme Court. All or almost all show concern for sanctions,” Bolsonaro said in the same dialogue.
The conversation between Bolsonaro and the deputy was reproduced in the report in which (PL-SP) on suspicion of obstruction of the trial of the coup plot, underway at the Supreme Court (STF).
The dialogue was days before President Donald Trump announced, on July 9, that products imported from Brazil.
