A, from São Paulo, presented amendment that gave in an area of the municipality to the NGO of an advisor for 90 years, with the possibility of extension.
Seeing her initiative contested by opposition councilors, she gave up the idea. The land, partially occupied by a municipal children’s school, is in the city Ademar, south of the capital.
The amendment would be an approved bill that allowed the sale of areas of the municipality for private enterprise, including streets.
The beneficiary NGO is called I find it absurd and was founded by Edson Teixeira, who works as advisor to the leadership of the new councilwoman party in the House, besides being alternate of the parliamentarian herself. The entity offers sports, culture and social assistance activities to needy communities.
As the only representative of the subtitle at the house, Monteiro is also the leader of the one -person bench.
The NGO is chaired by Teixeira’s wife, Erika Dias Araújo, as announced on her website.

The Councilwoman’s press office stated that “in becoming aware that there was a discussion in progress between the subprefecture and a municipal school about the responsibility of the area, the councilwoman chose to remove the amendment.”
“The amendment aimed to propose the administrative assignment of an idle public space – led by vegetation, without use, not even by the neighboring CEI – that had been serving as a breeding house of insects and rats, causing great discomfort to the surrounding population,” he said in a statement.
The advisory added that “the institute I find absurd develops a wide social work in São Paulo, having already served more than 70 communities with voluntary support and currently offering activities of social assistance, education, sports, culture and leisure, which directly impact about 400 people a week.”
The parliamentarian also stated that its performance is guided by the commitment to foster initiatives that bring positive impact on the city.
Edson Japan said the land has been taken by a thicket and abandoned for almost 30 years. “It is essential that the authorities take responsibility and present an appropriate solution, so that the population does not have to continue living with this situation,” wrote the founder of the NGO and advisor of the new.
“The periphery of our city needs more social assistance, sport and leisure services that really positively impact people’s lives,” he continued.
