Acre Governor Gladson Camelí announced on Tuesday (16) during the visit of the Minister of Labor and Employment, Luiz Marinho, who invited the minister and the president of the Republic, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, to the inauguration of the Siberia Bridge in Xapuri, scheduled for the end of the year.

“And here I will take this opportunity, already to invite you, and already my advice, to invite the president we inaugurated, such a dreamed work in the land of Chico Mendes, which is a bridge that I will open now, in late October, Siberia,” said Camelí.
The governor pointed out that each visit of federal authorities to Acre brings investments and strengthens projects for the benefit of the population. “The minister is in this form of the federal government, is pacifying, is uniting, inviting the President of the Republic to come here, is receiving the president with red carpet, and every time a president comes to a state, surely he comes to bring news, he comes to bring investments,” he said.
Camelí also stressed that the bridge represents a milestone for the region, connecting local communities to important highways and urban centers, as well as facilitating the transportation of people and goods. “I believe this work will generate opportunities for everyone and further integrate our region, directly benefiting the local population,” he added.
The work, according to the governor, is the result of a partnership between the state government and the federal government, consolidating efforts to promote infrastructure and economic development in Acre. For Camelí, the inauguration of the Siberia Bridge symbolizes the government’s commitment to improving the population’s quality of life and the realization of historical projects awaited years.
