Porto Walter holds between 18 and 20 September 2025 the tenth edition of the Milho Festival, one of the largest cultural, sporting and gastronomic events of the municipality. The party will be at Rua Beira Rio and the Acoustic Shell, with the support of Sebrae and the Legislative Assembly of the State of Acre (Aleac).
The celebration, which has already become local tradition, will bring together residents and visitors in a wide cultural programming. The official opening takes place on Thursday (18), with pedestrian race at 18h and the conventional fair, where traders will receive participation kits. The night continues with performances by local churches and, at 8:30 pm, the national gospel show with singer Fabiano Barcelos promises to thrill the audience.
With preparations that value regional culture and promote entertainment for all ages, the corn festival reaffirms its role as one of the largest events in Porto Walter’s festive calendar.
