The York Duchess, sent an email to the pedophile millionaire in 2011 in which he acclaimed him as a “faithful and supreme friend” despite his sentence for sexual crimes, as the British tabloids have revealed ywhich qualify as “humiliating” the email and announce a “bombshell” in the British royal house.
In the mail, supposedly sent from the personal account of the ex -wife of in April 2011, Ferguson apologized to Epstein for having linked it with pedophilia in an interview a month before when he said he repeated to have accepted money from the American millionaire and promised to distance himself from him.
“I know that you feel terribly fraud by me for what they have been able to tell you or you have read and I must apologize humbly because of that. You have always been a faithful, generous and supreme friend for me and my family,” the Duchess would have told Epstein, according to the aforementioned daily.
“As you know, I didn’t say, absolutely no, the word with p -Pedophile- about you but I understand that it was disclosed that I said,” the mail continues.
“I must apologize humbly (…) As you know, I did not say, absolutely not, the word with p -Pedophil- about you but I understand that it was disclosed that I said it,”
It refers to the interview published in March 2011 by the newspaper Evening Standardin which, when asked about the 15,000 pounds (17,206 euros) that he accepted from Epstein, Ferguson said: “I hate pedophilia and any child sexual abuse and I know that this was a gigantic error of trial for my part. When I can, I will return the money and I will never have anything to do with Jeffrey Epstein never again.”
The Duchess of York would also have explained in the mail that he had followed the recommendations of those who had told her not to communicate with Epstein so as not to cause him more problems or Prince Andrés ,.
Similarly, he said he conducted the interview with the aim of acting quickly to safeguard her philanthropy career and as the author of children’s books.
The emails between the billionaire and the duchess were exchanged after he was released from a Florida prison in July 2009, after having turned 13 months of a sentence of 18 for requesting prostitution from girls of up to 14 years.
In December 2010, Epstein agreed to pay 15,000 pounds (17,206 euros) owed in unpaid wages and other invoices to the former personal assistant of Sarah, Johnny O’Sullivan.
After the publication of the mail, a spokesman for the Duchess said that the email was sent to “appease” a threat that Epstein had sued it for defamation for the interview in the interview in the Evening Standard.
“The Duchess expressed her regret for her relationship with Epstein many years ago and, as always, her first thought is for the victims. Like many people, she was fooled by her lies,” he said.
Epstein was found dead by suicide in 2019 in his cell while waiting for a trial for sex trafficking.
