The interim director of (ICE), Todd Lyons, has confirmed the morning of Wednesday that three people were injured in a shooting in an office of the immigration agency located in Dallas, Texas. One of the people died in the place and the other two were transferred to a nearby hospital. The shooter died from a self -inflicted gunshot wound, the Dallas Police Department. No federal agent received shots, but among the victims there are detainees.
So far, the identity of the victim or the injured has not been confirmed. Nor have details been offered from the shooter. The Secretary of National Security, Kristi Noem, has said in an X publication that the reason for the shooting is being investigated, but assured that the event occurs in the middle of an increase in attacks against ICE agents, which comply with the mass deportation agenda of President Donald Trump.

The shooting occurred around 7 am central time in the United States, and caused a wide police deployment in the area.
