The former governor of Goiás and pre-candidate for the Presidency, (), came out in defense this Thursday (23) of (Novo), his possible opponent in the presidential race.
On an agenda in Minas Gerais, the state that Zema governed until March, the Goiás native criticized the possible decision of the (Supreme Federal Court).
“There is no reason to include Romeu Zema within fake news. This exceeds, goes beyond the functions of the STF. My position is one of total respect for my colleague, who has the right to express himself”, stated Caiado in Belo Horizonte.

Caiado minimized his potential for a presidential campaign and stated that his name should rise in voter intention polls as soon as the debates begin.
“Caiado’s campaign is like country music. Once people know about it, they vote for everything”, he said, speaking about himself in the third person.
In a meeting with the Minas Gerais agribusiness sector, the man from Goiás once again reinforced the approval of his management at the head of the state and highlighted security policies in the countryside.
